The Sūtra on Perfectly Possessing Ethical Discipline (Śīlā Samyukta Sūtra)

“Monks, to be separated from life-force and die is easy, but that is not the case for the degeneration of ethical discipline. Why is that so? Because being separated from life-force brings to exhaustion the birth of this very life, but the degeneration and destruction of ethical discipline brings about separation from good lineage for ten million births and eliminates happiness, thus causing one to experience utter downfall.”

The Mighty Turning of the Dharma Wheel Sūtra (the ‘Pravartana’ Version)

“O seekers of virtue, in regard to the Noble Truth of Suffering, concerning things not heard before, vision arose, insight arose, wisdom arose, awareness arose, and illumination arose. Moreover, the Noble Truth of Suffering, O seekers of virtue, must be comprehensively understood. O seekers of virtue, in regard to this itself, concerning things not heard before, vision arose, insight arose, wisdom arose, awareness arose, and illumination arose.”

The Dhāraṇī of Lapis Light for Generating the Power of the Tathāgata’s Samādhi (The Concise Medicine Buddha Sūtra)

Then, through the power of the Buddha, Mañjuśrī-kumārabhūta arose from his seat; and, joining his palms, spoke the following words: “May all Tathāgatas consider this, I pray. Please purify the negativity of all sentient beings, dispel their illness, and fulfill all their hopes. O Bhagavāt, I implore you; please relate the names of these [Seven Medicine Buddha] Tathāgatas; and impart the Dhāraṇī which is blessed by their previous aspirations.”

The Dhāraṇī of Noble Maṇibhadra

“Venerable Sir, if any monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen or anyone else recites this Heart-Essence [Dhāraṇī] every day during the three parts of the day, then I shall always follow after that person, do everything that person needs, seek out food, riches, gold, jewels, grain and silver for them, accomplish all their aims, put all sentient beings under their influence, instantaneously accomplish all the various activities of that person; and cause them to be free from poverty.”
