Since 2008, Erick Tsiknopoulos and the Sugatagarbha Translation Group have been offering translations of Tibetan Buddhist texts to the general public on our main website, Tibetan-Translations.com. Our goal has always been to make the classic and important literature of the various Tibetan Buddhist traditions available to as many people as possible, through the medium of our English translations. We strive for the highest possible level of quality and accuracy in our translations; and we try to consult with Tibetan scholars for any difficult points in the texts we translate.

At present, the site has English translations of over 400 Tibetan texts by dozens of Indian and Buddhist authors; and more are being added on a regular basis. As of this writing, in the past year, we have published 41 new translations of Tibetan Buddhist texts; the vast majority of which had never before been translated into English or any other Western language.

In addition, some of our translations have also been translated into other languages, such as Spanish, French, German, Russian, Indonesian, Romanian and Greek; and this is something we hope to do more of in the future.

Tibetan-Translations.com is visited by about 100-200 people per day, receives about 300-400 hits or views per day; and thousands of people from all over the world, from 180 countries, actively use the website for their study, research, and practice, on a regular basis. To date, the translations by Erick Tsiknopoulos and the Sugatagarbha Translation Group which are available on Tibetan-Translations.com have been read and used by over 97,000 people in total. The feedback from our readers over the years has been overwhelmingly positive and appreciative.

We are seeking sponsorship to support our ongoing translation work. Your sponsorship will substantially help us in our ongoing translation projects; and this will thus become a causal factor for promoting the translation of the oceanic literature of the Buddha Dharma into English and other languages.

Our time and energy is limited, as we have mostly been involved with our commissioned translation works and forthcoming books. To a large extent, the amount of time which can practically be devoted to working on, completing and putting up new translations on Tibetan-Translations.com depends on the amount of direct financial support that is received to sustain this ongoing endeavor. Hence, we require the far-sighted vision and noble motivation of patrons like yourself and others: Those who contribute directly to our translation undertakings, out of a shared sense of mutual aspiration.

With your generous assistance, we can further build our ever-growing library of Tibetan Buddhist texts, maintain and improve our website, and find the time and resources to provide more and more of the many hundreds of texts which we are planning on translating in the near future.

Thank you for your consideration and generosity. We only request that you dedicate the merit and positive karmic potential of your practice of generosity—a generosity which helps the precious Buddha Dharma to flourish—toward a far-reaching wish for longterm benefit and happiness.
